Therapist Overview
So often we have a deep feeling that we’re not enough and we expend so much energy trying to hide this fear from others. It makes us feel anxious and depressed. We might even start to isolate ourselves and our personal relationship begin to suffer and become less satisfying. We all have ways that we try to get out of it or have tried to “fix” it in the past…but they don’t work or at least not for very long. You want to be free and finally be able to be yourself, the one you know exists deep inside you. This is the place where I can help. I work with a relational and collaborative style, believing that while not everything we do is helpful or ideal it’s always understandable. Working in a college counseling setting for 8 years has given me experience working with teens and young adults. I also have a decade of experience practicing as a Spiritual Director which gives me a unique ability to integrate spiritual issues if my clients would like to.
