Therapy isn’t about finding what is broken. It is about exploring what works, what might happen, how to improve or develop better coping skills, and finding ways to put the past where it belongs, in the past. It’s looking at the good, the bad, and the ugly within an emotionally safe, judgement free, environment of hope. The purpose of therapy is to move past finding ways to survive and start finding ways to live. As a cognitive behavior therapist, I bring 60 years of life experience and over 20 years in mental health. I really enjoy working with people that are seeking emotional stability, lifestyle changes, freedom from abuse and addictions, and self confidence. Over the years I have encouraged and supported individuals dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, transitions, suicidal thoughts, and psychosis in moving toward a more fulfilling life and better mental health.
