Therapist Overview
My main focus for the past 15 years has been on Alcohol and Substance Abuse Treatment, in group settings as well as individual sessions. I work mostly with adults, but I do have experience with adolescents, families, and couples. In working with issues of addiction, I also work with Adult Children of Alcoholics and Addicts (ACOA/COA) addressing the negative impact growing up in an alcoholic household has had on many aspects of their daily life. My specialty is Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling, but I am not exclusive to that population. I am involved with the LGBT population as well, having done groups, individual therapy and couples therapy. I am looking to also provide group and individual counseling for children/adolescents of LGBT families.
