Therapist Overview
I am a licensed MFT who’s goal is to provide a safe space to dissect ones life, in order to examine through the lens of the client, what their wishes, desires, and plans for a more fulfilling life entail. For 19 years, I have owned and operated care homes for the elderly. I sit bedside with someone dying, hold the family through the grief and loss, and teach people how to move through the pain. I have also worked extensively with children and teens. I find it an honor to help children and young adults navigate social media, bullying, anxiety, depression, self esteem, etc. It can be a challenging world for our children. The focus of my work is on feelings and change. This is a simple definition of grief. Grief may come in the form of a break up or divorce, an empty nest, a significant life change, loss, anxiety, depression, or simply losing ones way. If you find yourself lost in the woods, let me be the one to help lead you out of darkness through consciousness of self. My theoretical framework is a holistic approach of humanistic, transpersonal, mindfulness, and depth psychology. I believe utilizing a variety of clinical approaches allows for an individual plan to be developed by the client and myself. I find that struggles and challenges in ones life, can be a beautiful opportunity to learn and grow and blossom.
