My name is Heike Barnett. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Sociology at Ashford University, Clinton, Iowa and my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling at Liberty University, Lynchberg, Virginia. Currently I am working on my Doctorate in Adult Education. I have been working at Counseling Services, Inc for over 4 years, starting out with my practicum and internship. At present time I am working two days a week at the site, Wednesdays and Thursdays facilitating various groups offered at the site as well as individual counseling. My specialties include but are not limited to domestic violence cases, sex offenders, substance abuse, LGBT, the elderly, trauma, and depression.
