Therapist Overview
I believe that self-acceptance and realizing one’s worth are the foundations of positive self-esteem and the underpinnings of a life well lived. My goal: to help clients learn coping skills that can enable them to realize their full potential and increase their quality of life. Everyone has worth and value. Behaviors can be changed. I work with adults, families, adolescents and children who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma from abuse. I feel that counseling should be based on the needs of each client and not a “one size fits all” approach. I enjoy working with people of all ages but have a strong passion for helping children and adolescents. I have experience working with children who are on the autistic spectrum, children who have had behavioral problems in school and at home, and children who have experienced trauma and abuse. I also have experience working with women and issues specific to them.
