David views the therapeutic process as a collaborative effort and recognizes each person as an individual with their own needs and desires. An essential aspect of treatment provides the individual the space and safety to explore and express themselves in a confidential environment. This promotes a greater sense of self-awareness and self-acceptance. David’s approach draws on a relational psychodynamic orientation, informed by infant and attachment research, as well as contemporary neuroscience. However, the individual’s experience is always privileged in guiding the process, with a focus on finding the best way to help each person move forward in their life. David has experience working with children, adolescents and adults, providing an in-depth understanding of human development and the major issues and milestones that surround all stages of the life-cycle.
