Daniel Auerbach

Daniel provides personalized counseling services for adolescents, adults, and families. With over 15 years’ experience, Daniel offers an integrative approach to counseling which is respectful of an individual’s experience and focuses on improving existing strengths, while developing new skills. Daniel’s concentration focuses on the treatment of anxiety, traumatic stress, and depressive disorders.He enjoys helping people navigate life’s challenges in work, school, family, and peer relationships. His special interests lie in helping people who confront the unique challenges of living at the intersections of culture, race, gender, or sexual orientation. Daniel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, earning dual Master’s Degrees in Social Service and Social Policy from Bryn Mawr College. Continuing education on solution-focused brief treatment, as well as empirically based cognitive-behavioral interventions for traumatic stress, means Daniel remains focused on staying current on treatment methodologies in order to provide the best care possible.
