Therapist Overview

Life can be pretty horrible sometimes, leaving you feeling hopeless, isolated, angry, and afraid. LGBTQ+ persons are at a higher risk for mental health struggles such as depression, anxiety, and suicidality, yet they are less likely to pursue treatment out of fear of rejection. It is my goal to walk beside you through everything life is throwing at you, from mental health concerns, to relational conflicts, to identity exploration, to spirituality questions, providing a safe space for you to face your demons and move towards health. Just by exploring your options, you are already taking a brave first step. While I see heterosexual and LGBTQ+ adults and adolescents for a wide range of concerns, I have focused education in sex therapy and trauma therapy. I utilize a foundation of interpersonal and dynamic therapy, infusing CBT and ACT tools according to the client’s specific needs. Life can be brutal. You may be feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or out of control. I consider it a privilege
