Therapist Overview
Psychotherapy is a unique relationship in that it’s a focus on you and how to improve all facets of your life. The most important factor in the therapeutic relationship is the comfort and ease in which the client can share at their own pace. Therapy is not limited to times of personal crisis, but essential in building increased awareness to foster healthier, more fulfilling relationships and individual potential. Areas of significant clinical experience include: adults–ages 18-75+ experiencing substance use/misuse, depression, anxiety, substance use/misuse, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), relational conflict and boundary setting. Losses related to aging and/or other life transitions. I use a relational approach to be with you in the room. I am mindful and intentional in the treatment and space that I offer, and work hard to make you feel comfortable. I individualize each treatment to align with your goals – after all, this has to work for you and your life!
