Life can be really hard – so many of us are experiencing this during this pandemic – and sometimes we could use some help, someone who will listen without judging or telling us how we should feel or what we should do. We may or may not know what exactly we are dealing with, we just know that we want to feel better. Anxiety, depression and other mental health issues are very common, so if you are experiencing any of these you are not alone. It can be very difficult to reach out for help, so if you’re reading this you’ve already taken that first big step. I’m ready to join and support you as you start your path to feeling better. While I use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), client-centered and solution-focused approaches to aid in the therapeutic process, I also believe in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. I take special care in cultivating and maintaining our relationship, placing special emphasis on trust and unconditional positive regard and acceptance.
