I believe the most important part of therapy is the therapeutic relationship between a client and therapist. The relationship is where the deepest connection on a psychological level between the client and therapist occurs. The unconditionally positive perspective the therapist holds towards the client forges a bond over time between client and therapist that opens up the possibility for trust, openness, and healthy growth to occur. As a therapist, my job is to help you notice unhealthy cycles that contribute to your difficulties, while providing encouragement and additional insight as needed. I use Depth Psychology. The meaning and roots of behavior, worldview, personality are explored to facilitate a deeper understanding of the client. I take a phenomenological perspective, which is exploring experiences from the client’s perspective.
