Seeking help is not easy, it takes courage, especially if others close to you don’t fully understand what you may be going through. I’ve been a therapist for nearly 20 years and have helped clients feel happier, less stressed, closer to the significant people in their lives, rejuvenated to do the things they normally enjoy doing, and have helped them to view themselves and their future in a healthier light. I strive to build a trusting relationship with each person I work with, and I want my clients to feel heard, understood, encouraged, and motivated to make positive change. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients combat symptoms of depression and anxiety. CBT techniques, when applied consistently, help people improve their mood and improve their control over worry.
