People come to see me when they feel stuck: having a hard time with using substances, managing life stress, finding direction or hemmed in by the past. They don’t know what to do or where to turn. The solutions don’t work anymore or have turned into problems of their own. One problem may have stopped only for several others to emerge. Trying feels difficult. Life is hard. I help you learn to solve your own problems. Stress is the smoke of a fire – together we can identify what is burning and how to put it out. I have a strong bias: that the best solution is a life worth living. I want you to become your own counselor. I want you free to live without abusing substances, stressed out or still wounded by the past. You are here looking for help and I give you credit: that takes a lot of courage. You may not even be sure what the problem is, but you know that things can’t continue the way they have been. I’m not here to pass judgment. You are not a bad person. You just might need help
