Therapist Overview
Perhaps your feeling a bit “stuck” as you envision the New Year? Ashley is passionate about walking alongside individuals as they process life’s many challenges; aiming to provide clients warmth, empathy, and sound tools as they work toward their goals. Counseling can have a rejuvenating, positive impact on the direction of one’s life. Ashley has experience working with individuals facing anxiety, loneliness, issues related to infidelity, boundaries, grief, adoption, parenting, career challenges, and trauma, among others. Ashley utilizes techniques like EMDR, CBT, and Logotherapy. EMDR can be particularly helpful for resolving past traumatic experiences. Her undergraduate training is in Early Childhood Education, as well as Biblical Studies. Prior to her counseling work, she taught at an International School, and also worked at the Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Autism. This is a uniquely challenging time and many people feel overwhelmed and isolated. Some people are feeling inspired to revaluate their priorities, while some just want a place where they feel like someone is really listening. Ashley’s hope is to be as helpful as she can, and is warmly welcoming new clients via Telehealth.
