Therapist Overview
My name is Andrew Erdman, and I provide therapy for people facing an assortment of life’s challenges: relationships, work, family conflict, self-destructive or maladaptive behaviors, persistent negative thinking and low self-esteem, depression and anxiety. I find that life often presents its biggest problems when we grow out-of-touch with our internal reserves of authenticity and strength. There are many reasons why this can happen for people, and the result can be recurrent bad relationships, work dissatisfaction, family strife, painful loneliness, as well as other life problems. I see individual therapy as a chance to help you sort out what you don’t need—feelings, thoughts, and even roles you may have taken on—and get closer to the parts of you that want to heal, grow, and be happy. For those suffering with problems of out-of-control sexual behavior (OCSB) and other issues that may be related to trauma, you can seek treatment with me at the Sexuality Attachment and Trauma Proj
