I have a Masters Degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have experience working with adolescents and adults with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, bipolar, PTSD, grief, and couples working through a difficult time. I have also been able to assist those struggling with suicidal or homicidal ideation. I primarily use Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ACT) which is a hyper processing modality to treat a multitude of symptoms including PTSD, depression, anxiety, phobias, eating disorder and more. I also use CBT, DBT and various techniques to work with any struggle a client is suffering from. A therapeutic relationship with each client is the most important part of the counseling process. My therapeutic approach is to collaborate with clients to increase self-awareness and recognize patterns that may have previously caused distress.
