Therapist Overview
My approach to therapy is relational and integrative. I believe that we all have a deep capacity for healing, but it can be difficult to fully access our inner strengths and resources without support. Together, we can uncover ways you are feeling stuck, and chip away at blockages that may have developed due to intergenerational trauma, early wounds, losses, and other challenging circumstances. Patterns that are no longer serving you can be illuminated and disrupted, creating space for more comfort, joy, and ease. Greater levels of self-awareness and self-acceptance can emerge as we explore your inner world. I hold a culturally-inclusive framework and create space for exploration of identity and how this impacts your experience in the world and within systems. I find that integrating mindfulness and somatic practices with psychodynamic therapy can often provide people with powerful ways to reduce depression and anxiety, as well as to process trauma.
