Amy Mattia

I work with women and married couples dealing with issues of depression, anxiety, relational difficulties, sexual difficulties, and spiritual formation. I provide individual and marital counseling, per-marital counseling, and as my schedule permits, group counseling. Most of my work is with women or couples who are 18 years old or older. My counseling work is grounded in a Christian worldview. In addition, I make use of an Interpersonal Process counseling model, which is an integrative counseling approach incorporating elements of Family Systems Theory, Attachment Theory, and Cognitive-Behavioral Theory. I also use elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy in my approach. Karis House is a counseling center in Saint Louis that provides services to couples, individuals, children and families.
