I specialize in psychotherapy for children, adolescents and young adults ranging in age from 7 to 24 years. You may be looking for therapy for yourself, your child or for your family and if so you have come to the right place. My philosophy to therapy is that goals are met and behavior change is created through the combination of an open and honest relationship with your therapist, development of new skills and increased insight into problems. I work hard to create an environment where clients can feel safe, have the ability to be open and honest and feel supported while they work through what is often a difficult part of life. Although I enjoy working with a diverse range of issues my areas with extended expertise and special interest include the following; anxiety disorders, including OCD, panic disorder and separation anxiety, depression, self-harming behaviors and suicidal ideation, adjustment issues, self-esteem issues, grief and loss and anger. I am passionate about the work that can be done in psychotherapy and feel strongly about creating unique treatment plans centered around the needs and goals of individual clients.
