I received my MS in Counseling Psychology in 2016. I have practiced mental heath therapy for five years and pastoral care therapy for over twenty years. To me, therapy is much more of a relationship than it is a science, and a therapist is not a medical provider, nor a healer, but first and foremost a person who engages in relationship through conversations with other people, in an attempt to make their lives better. I work from an Existential Therapy theory. This is a process that seeks meaning within the whole of the person’s existence, including their personal history.
