Therapist Overview
I admire the clients who first walk through the door at A Sheltering Tree. It takes courage to begin a relationship with a stranger where you are asked to reveal areas of struggle and pain. I am honored to be given this opportunity, and my goal is to co-create a relationship built on trust so that we can work together to help you find the answers that you seek for the changes in you want in your life. I enjoy working with individual, couples, and groups. In couples work, a fellow therapist and I work together — he working with one partner and I the other, coming together every few appointments for couple’s work together. I also currently have five working groups which meet on a weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly basis. In addition to counseling, I offer various types of workshops at A Sheltering Tree and lead retreats throughout the United States.
