As a child and family therapist, I specialize in child therapy helping children to cope with depression, anger, anxiety, school, social and behavioral problems, a divorce, a death, and other family issues. I am a parenting expert and help parents to understand their child’s behavior and difficulties and teach them skills for communicating positively with their child. I provide couple and family counseling focused on strengthening family relationships and joint problem solving. Using a psychodynamic approach, I help adults to understand their own early childhood experiences, so they can overcome emotional roadblocks and communicate positively with other family members. As a graduate of the New York University Graduate School of Social Work (1982), I have worked with children and families for over 35 years.
