Thanks for checking out my profile. My years of experience include work with addictions of all sorts, marriage and family dynamics, trauma and grief, and spiritual issues. I also work a lot with depression and anxiety, which are often a factor in all of these conditions. I provide premarital and marital counseling for couples, and my individual practice is limited to men. My approach is to listen deeply and well, to make sure I understand you, and then to present alternate interpretations or responses to the things you struggle with. I often include a simple cognitive therapy that helps you challenge thoughts and beliefs that only add to the challenges you face. I’m an ordained minister (Messianic Jewish rabbi), and I enjoy working with spiritually committed people, as well as folks who are uncommitted and skeptical, but open. When appropriate I can provide spiritual coaching as part of your treatment plan.
