I bring compassionate presence, mindful awareness and deep listening to my work with clients, to facilitate their negotiating life’s inevitable difficulties and challenges with a sense of meaning and intention. I draw from a variety of modalities and allow the client’s goals, be they short-term or long-term, to inform the work. I have had a long-standing Jungian orientation to therapy, as it is in accord with my belief in the client’s own innate capacity for healing and wholeness, given the right relationships and circumstances. As a certified Jungian sandplay therapist, I often use sandplay in my work to facilitate this healing. More recently, I have immersed myself in Interpersonal Neurobiology, completing the certificate program at PSU. This has deepened my understanding of the inner workings of the healing of trauma, and its often related experiences of depression and anxiety.
