Therapist Overview
“People only seriously consider change when they feel accepted for exactly who they are.” -Carl Rogers I believe therapy is a way for you to express your feelings, struggles, and experiences in a place of safety, comfort and acceptance. I offer support and guidance as you process feelings related to issues that are getting in the way of you living a full and balanced life. Through the counseling process, my objective is for you to discover or re-discover your own power and ability to make the changes necessary for greater life satisfaction and happiness. I use a variety of approaches in my clinical work with children and adults including Play Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Approaches are selected and adapted to fit the client’s age, interests, and treatment needs. I work with individual children and families as well as individual adults. I am also a veteran and understand these unique backgrounds. I have worked and volunteered in a variety of settings during my adventures as a veteran and veteran spouse. I currently work under supervision to receive my NH mental health licence and play therapy certification.
