I approach therapy with a client-centered, interpersonal stance to create a safe, non-judgemental, collaborative working relationship. My approach is holistic, taking into consideration all aspects of my client’s life. Many of my clients present with the following concerns: anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, parenting, work problems, eating disorders and weight issues. I rely on an integrative approach, drawing from cognitive behavior therapy, family systems, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. I use both short-term goal oriented approaches and longer-term, insight oriented treatment as required. I am an LCSW with more than 25 years of private practice experience working with adults. I draw on my years of experience to tailor an approach that matches the unique needs of each client. My ultimate objective is to assist clients in making changes they choose for improving their lives.
