Therapist Overview
***Sessions are conducted via video conferencing during COVID19 restrictions.*** Times of transition can often cause us to feel overwhelmed and alone. While people close to us may be supportive, we may not always feel able to share with them our doubts and discomfort. Having an empathic therapist who can objectively help us navigate the journey is invaluable. My clients have struggled with depression and anxiety, survived trauma or grief, or experience the world as LGBTQIA identified people. I use a conversational and pragmatic counseling style that incorporates psychodynamic and evidence-based modalities based on the client’s needs and strengths. I’ve completed additional training in motivational interviewing, TF-CBT, and grief counseling, and have experience with clients who participate in the kink, sex positive, and poly communities. My office is a place where you can explore your fears, identify your resilience, and build new coping skills. Therapy works best as a collaborative experience. If you believe that we would work well together, please contact me to make an appointment. I’m looking forward to meeting you!
