Patricia Bischoff

Patricia Bischoff is Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Sex Offender Treatment provider in the Richmond area. She obtained her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Orlando where she started her career in social work. Patricia obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the State University of New York. Patricia’s work has included a variety of settings and populations which included law enforcement, corrections, military counseling, substance abuse and community mental health. She has worked with adults, adolescents and geriatric populations in both individual and group settings. Patricia provides therapy with an individualized approach. “Each person is unique, with different struggles and ways of coping. Therapy should be tailored to that person, not a concept.” Working from that perspective, she has utilized cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance, commitment theory and motivational interviewing. She has worked with clients suffering with depression, anxiety, family issues, grief and sexual issues. Patricia is trained as a certified sex offender treatment provider and has treated individuals struggling with addiction. Patricia enjoys working with all clients and finds she “learns something from everyone”.
