Therapist Overview
If you are experiencing an increase in anxiety, depression, or substance abuse during these uncertain times you are not alone. Both as a clinician and as a human being, I can relate and I can tell you that therapy is an effective path to a healthier and more meaningful life. I earned my doctorate from the University of Denver in 2010 and have enjoyed working with both civilians and veterans to move past traumatic experiences. I work from an eclectic and pragmatic approach utilizing a variety of different evidence-based techniques to address trauma including EMDR, Prolonged Exposure, and Cognitive processing therapy. I come from a Health Psychology background and I have a special interest in helping people to achieve genuine health and wellness in their lives. Whether your goal is weight loss or more specifically addressing eating disordered behavior, I can help you to maintain those emotional and physical changes necessary to lead a healthier and more balanced life. In addition to working with individuals, I also take a limited number of marital or couples cases for partners who are interested in deepening their connection or who are working through difficult times.
