Therapist Overview

Mental health is defined as a person’s condition regarding their psychological and emotional well-being. In other words, we all have it. Unfortunately, the negative stigma surrounding mental health makes it difficult for individuals to seek assistance when impacted by trauma or by everyday life. Mental health isn’t about enduring. It’s about stabilizing, maintaining, and rebuilding daily. I offer you a unique combination of skill, thought, and experience from the perspective of a retired/disabled Police Officer and trauma survivor. I am a bi-lingual LMHC and CCTP of “Nuyorican” decent. I proudly served the City of New York and continued to serve the most vulnerable of victims as a member of a multi-disciplinary team investigating allegations of physical and sexual abuse as a Clinical Forensic Specialist and a trauma focused therapist. Despite my traumatic past, I’ve been able to move forward because of my training, education, experience, and skill; in addition to helping others. Let’s chat!
