Therapist Overview
Being human is difficult. Period. It can come with painful and traumatizing experiences — particularly as we live in a society that is imbued with isms, poverty, and uncertainty about the future. We can experience deep sadness, loneliness and worries. And even so, there is something in us that wants to find hope and long-lasting joy, and live a life that’s rich, meaningful, and filled with connection and belongingness. I imagine often a child running around, laughing, and being playful. A child who seems so free. That can be us. Through mindfulness, meditation, and self-compassion practices, we can learn to embody more of this sense of joy. This sense of freedom. This sense of adventure. This sense of peace. My hope is that I can assist you in: finding more spaces where you feel at home, feeling more in tune with yourself, and feeling more love and acceptance towards yourself and others.
