I have been working as a counselor for 15 years. Before I attended graduate school and received my degree in counseling pyschology, I had worked as a newspaper reporter and then as a columnist. I also went to counseling myself to help me navigate and heal from trauma during my youth. I so enjoy working with people, listening to their stories, helping them to navigate their challenges and heal from their injuries and pain. I have always had a great affinity for people, a trait I learned from my parents. My ideal client is someone who is willing to do the work that healing requires. I specialize in depression, anxiety, and couple’s counseling. I am a people person! I so enjoy meeting new people, hearing their stories, listening to their challnges and offering validation, encouragement, and profession skills to assist in the healing process.
