Therapist Overview
“Love is like life–merely longer”. When you are grieving, life may be exhausting & just plain hard. The decision to work with a therapist can feel that much harder. I have been told by my clients that I provide them with permission, steadying guidance, & intuitive validation of grief response. Your grief is yours. It is as unique as you, your circumstances, and your relationship. Much grief therapy can (and should be) time-limited, and the time it takes varies. When you’re ready, I aim to equip and (re)connect you to more supports. I have over 8 years experience working with grievers of all ages in individual, community hospice, and group settings. I hold graduate degrees in Social Work & Thanatology, with clinical expertise in issues surrounding death, dying, and bereavement. I am trained in Complicated Grief Therapy (CGT). My style is collaborative and supportive. Give me a call when you are ready, & please be gentle with yourself in the meanwhile.
