My approach to therapy is collaborative, goal-oriented, and evidenced-based. My first goal in therapy is to provide a clear picture of what is going on so that we can work toward improving any problems that are causing you difficulty. We then work together to build specific skills that will enable YOU to make changes in thinking and behavior to improve the quality of your life. I specialize in treating young adults (18+) and adults who struggle with boundaries, co-dependency and big emotions that seem to be “life interfering.” Feeling validated and learning the purpose of our emotion is vital to reducing reactive behavior and preventing anxiety and panic attacks. It is also important to know how to deal with toxic people.
