Therapist Overview
I really believe in the relationship between a therapist and a client can be transforming. Regardless of the issue, therapy is a wonderful tool for a variety of life’s issues. Each client will present with their unique issues and therapy should be tailored to each client individually. I work with client’s who experience anxiety, depression, ADHD and violent or aggressive behaviors, problematic sexual behaviors, impulse control, difficulty controlling emotions, as well as substance misuse issues. I believe in honoring the mind-body connection. I primarily study sensorimotor psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as mindfulness. I am open to using multiple interventions to meet the client’s needs as I believe that each person is unique. “The very making of an appointment with a total stranger to deal with the greatest intimacies and vulnerabilities of one’s life is an act of profound faith.” – Diana Fosha. It takes courage to reach out and ask for help. I aim to make the process as comfortable as possible.
