Young people today experience more stress than ever before. I work with children and adolescents to help them develop an age appropriate understanding of their challenges and utilize their strengths to make a plan. By using an eclectic approach of play, psychotherapy and cognitive therapy, my goal is to provide the young person and their family with short term relief and long term solutions. Active listening techniques help children and adolescents feel safe and comfortable to begin talking about issues critical to their lives. I specialize in children and adolescents struggling with Anxiety, Depression, Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and general social difficulties. I believe in working closely with parents and schools to ensure our work is leading to a positive difference in the young person’s life.
