We all experience difficult times in our lives — periods when things feel overwhelming and hopeless and we just can’t seem to get out of our own way. Therapy provides a safe, respectful partnership within which to make sense of our sometimes-puzzling experiences, to evaluate our ways of coping with life challenges, and to work together to find new ways to address these and move forward. I work with people seeking help with a wide range of difficulties, including depression and anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, and significant life transitions (e.g., starting high school or college, getting married, parenthood, divorce). I have many years of experience at college/grad school counseling centers and greatly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults struggling with the vast academic, social, and emotional transitions that are hallmarks of adolescence.
