I welcome the opportunity to work with mental health issues, chemical dependency, and process addictions. In addition to this, I am trained in other recovery issues to include domestic violence, MST and other sexual trauma and abuse. I am EMDR trained and welcome the opportunity to utilize this unique and powerful therapeutic technique to assist clients with processing past traumatic experiences, as well as reducing the impact of day to day stressors, and moving forward to a healthier mental and emotional state. I understand how vulnerable a person feels when faced with having to seek out mental health services. It is important to me that my clients feel comfortable with the therapeutic process. Understanding the therapeutic process helps to alleviate stigma, reduces anxiety about getting help, and allows for a more meaningful treatment experience.
