I am a nationally certified school psychologist, education specialist and licensed mental health counselor. I specialize in evaluations for learning disabilities, attention and emotional difficulties, and any other issues affecting a student’s functioning and behavior at school and at home. Based on the evaluation I write 504 Plans for accommodations, or make recommendations for an Individual Education Plan. In addition I provide consultation for intervention plans to both families and schools. I also evaluate students for the Highly Capable/Gifted programs, as well as entry into private schools. I work with individuals age 5 to 29, and am proficient in Spanish. My goal is to help parents understand how their student learns, so they can be more successful in school – both academically and socially.
