Therapist Overview

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). DBT is an evidence-based treatment that helps clients navigate a life of pain by teaching tools to improve overall satisfaction. I currently work with adolescents and adults struggling with regulating difficult emotions and navigating relationships. I use a nonjudgmental stance – meaning I seek to balance the truth of the client with the needs of the current moment. Mindfulness practice is utilized as a part of therapy to assist you in gaining awareness of the present moment. I have experience treating anxiety, BPD, PTSD, depression, bipolar disorders, self-harm and eating disorders. I have special interest in the treatment of eating disorders, adolescents and young adults. I lead an Adolescent DBT skills group in addition to adult DBT groups. If you’re ready to start your journey, I’m here to help. Together we can work on the issues that matter to you and build a happier and healthier life.
