For all of us, the world can disappoint. If what happens next leaves us feeling stymied and lethargic, backed into a corner with no where to go but down, it is possible thinking and talking about our experience in new ways is ultimately what is needed. Psychoanalysis and its therapeutic cousin, psychotherapy (talk therapy), provides a crucible for persons to discover & express our truest & sometimes hidden, motivations in a safe environment. What we present to the world may not be all that we are, and what is hidden, may be essential for living our most satisfied lives.
