Therapist Overview

I view clients as the experts in their own lives and my role as their influential guide along the way. I am prepared to help clients process what they bring to sessions as well as teach concrete skills to ease suffering outside of session. I have 18 years experience working in the fields of mental health and addictions, over 10 of those years as a therapist for adults and families struggling with a variety of life challenges such as trauma, addiction, grief and loss, employment challenges, relationships problems, and physical health problems, as well as working with Veterans. I am certified in Narrative therapy with a focus on trauma and was part of a research study at the VA in Narrative Therapy for treatment of PTSD.
