Dr. Afroza Ahmed

I believe individuals have enormous potential to improve their lives, manage their difficulties, and heal themselves. My goal is to help them become aware of their inner strength through a process of examining their thoughts and feelings. I received my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, where I received my training in treating adults, families, couples, adolescents, and children. Additionally, I recieved EMDR training and help individuals with simple and complex trauma. I have hypnotherapy and advanced mindfulness trainings as well. I value individual differences and have personal and professional experiences with diversity, which inspired me to develop a culturally responsive program for individuals with collectivistic values.
