Therapist Overview
Do you find yourself struggling with feelings of sadness, nervousness or anger? Do you worry a lot? Are you having trouble in your relationships, feeling powerless, frustrated or like you’re not being listened to? I can help. Are you someone in early recovery who has stopped using substances, but feels their life isn’t improving? I can help. I will do this by listening to you, honoring your experience and providing honest feedback, in a relaxed and supportive environment. My treatment approach is based on the principle that our thoughts, feelings and behaviors are all interconnected, and by changing our thoughts and behaviors, we can change how we feel. I don’t believe that having symptoms means someone is damaged or flawed. Symptoms are a sign that something needs to change, whether it’s a situation, thought pattern or behavior. I can help you: figure out what needs to change, identify your options for changing it and work on making that change.
