Therapist Overview
Are you the person who wants someone to talk to but scared because it might be awkward? Do you have it all together on the outside but inside think “no one understands!” Are you concerned that talking to someone may bring up (yuck) emotions that you hate? If you answered yes to any of these questions then you are in luck! I’ve been that person before and know how difficult it can be to even think about seeking a therapist. This understanding has helped me assist multiple clients with exploring their inner selves. I have a passion for building relationships and connecting with my clients to alleviate feelings of awkwardness. My experience ranges from adolescents to adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, self-esteem, grief, and relationship issues. In therapy, I offer a fun, free-spirit environment that views clients though a nonjudgmental lens. I am big on making sure you get what you want out of therapy and we work together to accomplish your goals. I am skilled and trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). If you are on the lookout for a therapist who enjoys dogs, tacos, and offers a comforting environment then I just might just be your girl!
