Therapist Overview
Sometimes life robs us of our light. It can happen gradually or suddenly. We might not even know why the light is gone, only that it’s not there anymore. My goal is to enable you to search for and take hold of that light. I work primarily with depression and anxiety as well as couples issues, processing trauma, and family dynamics. I specialize in adolescents and young adults transitioning into new life stages, and adults who feel stuck in life. My practice is grounded in Interpersonal Psychotherapy, which explores the different ways painful cycles repeat throughout a person’s life and relationships. Above all, I believe that my responsibility is to hear, understand, and validate your concerns to empower you towards continued growth. In addition, I am also in the IRSJA (Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts) training seminar to become a certified Jungian psychoanalyst. While not necessary, I am available for us to work with dreams, images, and ideas that are important to you. I am currently only meeting through Telehealth.
