Therapist Overview

I help couples and individuals stuck in unsatisfying, repetitive patterns find clarity and regain momentum. I have a warm, collaborative and direct style. My work is informed by years of postgraduate training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, a form of treatment that aims to fully resolve underlying causes of our distress. I draw on the latest research in neuroscience, attachment theory and elements of skills-based treatments, all of which allow me to formulate an approach that will be most effective for your particular circumstances. In addition to my private practice, I teach graduate and post-graduate clinical courses at Boston College, Psychodynamic Couple and Family Institute of New England and Massachusetts Institute of Psychoanalysis. I co-direct a post-graduate fellowship that offers advanced training for therapists interested in deepening their skills.
