I am a psychotherapist that specializes in the treatment and care of members of the lgbtq+ community and their allies. I work with individuals, couples, and groups and am especially drawn to serving the unmet needs of an aging population, specifically long term survivors of the AIDS crisis, and their caregivers. Long term survivors often face high levels of stress, anxiety, depression, unresolved grief, survivors guilt, debilitating anger, a sense of hopelessness, and substance misuse. I believe each person is unique and deserves to be treated as such. Perhaps you have or are currently experiencing one or more of these issues, or something altogether different. It is my opinion that our elders deserve to be honored, revered, and respected for their contributions, losses and sacrifices made. As such, I offer a sliding-scale fee structure to those that need it. Additionally, I offer a free 15 minute consultation if you would like to discuss the possibility of us working together.
