Therapist Overview

Sometimes when experiencing an event that is distressing to us we can feel consumed with unpleasant memories, thoughts and feelings. The only way we can begin to overcome the event is to self-reflect by gaining a better understanding of ourselves, triggers and strengths. I hope to offer my clients a partnered therapeutic relationship to explore what is preventing them from living a positive and meaningful life.   I use a person-centered approach to therapy and tailor my interventions for my client’s individual needs. I work with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression and PTSD. I have trained experience providing trauma-informed care to survivors of sexual assault, childhood abuse and domestic violence.  My warm presence, empathic nature and relatability provides clients with a non-judgmental space to feel authentic and comfortable. I empower clients to identify their therapeutic goals and together with the client, I help them gain the necessary coping skills to manage and overcome once identified challenges, struggles and obstacles affecting their life.
